This model reel incorporates a line guide that holds the line in place in the windy conditions experienced regularly whilst kayak fishing. The line slips into the guide through the small gap and is retained in the guide, to release for casting just slip line out through the gap.
This reel is constructed with a strong light weight graphite back and the Easy Cast System. The reel has an on/off switch on the back of the reel to engage the new silent anti-reverse action. The smooth clutch is a multi-plate design with polished brass plates combined with PTFE coated woven glass washer which can also withstand very high temperatures, and the multi-plate clutch controls any line being taken by a larger fish. The drag pawl in this reel is supported on a metal pin through the backplate making it ideal to handle larger fish when kayak fishing.
Alvey sidecast reels are not affected by continual saltwater exposure making them ideal for use in kayaks. Ideal for freshwater and light saltwater fishing, strong drag will take on all varieties.
Left-Hand wind reels are not available.

Return & Refund
Returns for refund will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Shipping and handling cost are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable for change of mind, and lack of expertise for use of product.
Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Alvey within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.
If item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
Alvey owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error.
Shipping
We do not ship to third party addresses unless that address is known and can be verified by Alvey.
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Alvey will make every effort to deliver on time but cannot guarantee specific time periods.
Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts may be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.
International Orders
Alvey currently ships to Australia only. For all other countries, please contact us prior to ordering. Alvey will take no responsibility for goods once those goods leave Australia. All international orders must be paid with either PayPal or direct deposit.
