      Baitcaster BC80 Reel

      A beautiful frozen matt grey finish with gunmetal grey and anodized gold highlights, make this reel very pleasing to look at but to also to stand out in the crowd.

      The reel features 6 stainless steel ball bearings built into the one-piece die-cast super rigid frame with nylon hybrid side caps.

      Super comfortable EVA covered handles on a long powerful handle plate gives the angler lots of jigging strength at the fast 7.1:1 recovery rate.

      Infinite anti-reverse system tops off these features.

      A special feature of the 'V" shaped dual colour anodized spool is its quick exchange system, allowing the angler to be equipped with more than one size of line for different situations. Your line runs through a titanium coated guide for long life and smooth action.

      An adjustable magnetic brake system allows the angler the ultimate control in casting.

      A maximum of 8kg of smooth clutch pressure through carbon drag washers will control the strongest fish through a gloss black alloy star drag.

      With our RBC80 rod being so popular we would like to introduce his big brother, the RBC80-L. This rod will handle all your huge Murray Cod and Barra with a whopping 5-10 kg rating. Keeping the same beautiful design of the RBC80 specifications we have designed this rod to suit anglers chasing that BIG FISH.

      Alvey reels (everything else is just a toy)

      Swear by alvey, with this one running smooth as silk with braid. Nice and light set up for long periods or inpatient casters like me. It works a treat. Nothing else comes close.

      Nice but not a world beater

      The rod is pretty good get real good casting distance action is a little slow. The reel is nice out of the box but I have already had to change the spool as I suspect it bent or flexed no trophy fish though. Reel is a back up the rod is ok

      Great Combo - RBC80-L

      The RBC80-L Combo is a great combination of a tough baitcaster with a strong 7'6" (2.28 m) rod that's capable of casting those larger lures when you're looking for bigger Murray Cod & other freshwater fish. Works really well with 10kg braid & a long flouro leader to handle all those river snags.

      Good quality but tedious to use

      Have spent ages trying to tune this. It’s near impossible to tune for anything other than heavy lures, and after several ‘birds nests’ of braid I’ve packed it away at the back of the cupboard

      Return & Refund

      Returns for refund will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Shipping and handling cost are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable for change of mind, and lack of expertise for use of product.

      Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Alvey within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.

      If item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.

      Alvey owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error. 

      Shipping

      We do not ship to third party addresses unless that address is known and can be verified by Alvey.

      Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Alvey will make every effort to deliver on time but cannot guarantee specific time periods.

      Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts may be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.

      International Orders

      Alvey currently ships to Australia only. For all other countries, please contact us prior to ordering. Alvey will take no responsibility for goods once those goods leave Australia. All international orders must be paid with either PayPal or direct deposit.
