    We are proud to announce that we have collaborated with the famed Italian reel company Alutecnos to make a run of high spec reels for the discerning fisherman. 

    Alutecnos is a small but international company that does not deviate from its flagship product. Each reel is made by completely CNC-controlled production process to make their product reliable and of high quality. Their reels are compact, robust but at the same time light and designed for an intuitive use, to be handed down from generation to generation and to continue a tradition so full of values of fishing.

    Gorilla 12C, narrower compared to the Gorilla 12, integrated drag-preset and drag side plate with ergonomic design for the utmost comfort during fishing action. Retrieve ratio 4,4:1, a longer operating lever that, combined with the aluminum power handle, allows to generate a considerable power to better exploit the “Multi Drag Disc” (which can be set over 40 lbs with guaranteed free-spool).

    Whenever your reel is finished fishing, clean it with a sponge soaked in normal water (never use water jets under pressure), wipe it with a cloth and place it in a ventilated area.

    Avoid contact with seawater as far as possible. The salt may accumulate in the internal parts forcing the operator to intensify the cleaning operations.

    Every time the internal cleaning is carried out it is necessary to restore the lubrication of the mechanical parts with the lithium grease. This operation should be done at least once a year, preferably at the end of the sports season. Make sure that all the mechanical parts are correctly assembled and that all the screws are securely fastened.

    When the reel is not in use, the drag lever - C - must be shown in the rest position, i.e. Point-A-(Fig.1). By doing so we will release the mechanism from an effort state and keep the clutch functionally unchanged.

    We recommend periodic maintenance of your reel with a review or repair, at Alutecnos Company or Alvey or relying on experienced people (with a frequency adapted to the intensity of fishing experience), using specific grease and sprays to always have the better performance and functionality.

    Return & Refund

    Returns for refund will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Shipping and handling cost are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable for change of mind, and lack of expertise for use of product.

    Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Alvey within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.

    If item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.

    Alvey owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error. 

    Shipping

    We do not ship to third party addresses (including PO Boxes) unless that address is known and can be verified by Alvey.

    Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Alvey will make every effort to deliver on time but cannot guarantee specific time periods.

    Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts may be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.

    Orders over $100 are Free freight except combos due to being freighted in 2 boxes.
