OFFSET DUAL-LENGTH HANDLE PLATE

The sporty offset laser-cut handle plate comes in two lengths, each fitted with custom handle knobs. The longer plate gives you the leverage to turn and control big fish, while the shorter plate allows wrist-driven retrieves - and can recover line up to 20% faster when you need to re-rig and get back down quickly.

TRI-STAR DRAG ADJUSTMENT

The Tri-Star drag adjustment on the spool lets you dial in exactly the right clutch tension for the species and conditions. Combined with a large lever on the backplate to engage or disengage the clutch system, managing a running fish has never been more straightforward.

MULTI-PLATE CLUTCH SYSTEM

The smooth multi-plate clutch runs polished brass plates paired with PTFE coated woven glass washers that handle extreme heat without fading. Whether you're holding on for a Kingfish run or working Mulloway in deep water, the drag stays consistent throughout the fight.

FISH ALERT SWITCH

The fish alert switch on the rear of the reel can be engaged when leaving the rod unattended, so you'll know the moment a fish takes line. Useful for long sessions where you're covering multiple rods or waiting on bait.

Finished with decorative stainless steel name badges and available in two colours, the Southern Right is built Australian tough and finished to match.
