COMPRESSION MOULDED SPOOL

The Dolphin runs a compression moulded spool built for durability and strength - two things that matter most when you're fishing from a kayak and the reel takes everything the water throws at it. Saltwater exposure is no issue for this spool.

STAINLESS STEEL LINE GUIDE

A stainless steel line guide manages line onto the spool while you focus on fighting the fish. The line slips in through a small gap and stays retained until you're ready to cast - then simply slip it out. Straightforward and effective.

MULTI-PLATE CLUTCH

The smooth multi-plate clutch runs polished brass plates combined with PTFE coated woven glass washers that hold up to high temperatures under pressure. The drag pawl is supported on a metal pin through the backplate, giving it the backbone to handle larger fish from a kayak where leverage is limited.

NON-REVERSING DRAG WITH HANDLE PLATE

Designed to give kayak anglers direct control when a fish runs, the non-reversing drag with handle plate keeps you connected and in command without the reel working against you. Built for the confined, close-quarters nature of kayak fishing.
