The Dolphin 4 1/2" Captain Series Reel is the ideal reel for those who enjoy fishing from a kayak as Alvey side cast reels are not affected by continual saltwater exposure. A stainless-steel line guide aids the management of line onto your reel while you focus on fighting fish. The line slips into the guide through the small gap and is retained in the guide, to release for casting just slip line out through the gap. A compression molded spool ensures durability and strength, two famous features of Alvey reels.
The smooth clutch is a multi-plate design with polished brass plates combined with PTFE coated woven glass washer which can also withstand very high temperatures, and the multi-plate clutch controls any line being taken by a larger fish. The drag pawl in this reel is supported on a metal pin through the backplate making it ideal to handle larger fish when kayak fishing.
This model incorporates Alvey's Easy Cast System, allowing anglers to switch the reel from right to left-handed in a fast and convenient manner.

Returns for refund will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Shipping and handling cost are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable for change of mind, and lack of expertise for use of product.
Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Alvey within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.
If item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
Alvey owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error.
Shipping
We do not ship to third party addresses (including PO Boxes) unless that address is known and can be verified by Alvey.
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Alvey will make every effort to deliver on time but cannot guarantee specific time periods.
Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts may be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.
Orders over $100 are Free freight except combos due to being freighted in 2 boxes.

Alvey currently ships to Australia only. For all other countries, please contact us prior to ordering. Alvey will take no responsibility for goods once those goods leave Australia. All international orders must be paid with either PayPal or direct deposit.
