While paying tribute to the iconic reels that built the Alvey name, this new series has been completely redesigned from the inside out. Traditional spot welds and rivets have been eliminated in favour of a revolutionary modular internal construction. This innovative design not only increases strength and precision but also allows key internal modules to be easily serviced or replaced, making maintenance simpler than ever before.

The biggest visual evolution is the all-new spool. Engineered using modern design principles, the new spool delivers exceptional strength while significantly reducing weight. The result is a reel that feels lighter in the hand, performs better under load, and introduces a bold, modern look that signals the next generation of Alvey engineering.

A major advancement can also be found in the completely redesigned drag system. The new setup features a single oversized carbon fibre drag washer working against a large precision-machined stainless steel pressure plate. This dramatically increases the available drag pressure while delivering smoother, more consistent performance throughout the fight. Early testing by experienced Alvey anglers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the new drag system as a genuine game changer.
