The proven graphite back remains unchanged, delivering the exceptional impact resistance that Alvey graphite reels are famous for. The standout advancement is the all-new spool. Completely redesigned using modern engineering principles, it offers increased strength while reducing overall weight. A major advancement can also be found in the completely redesigned drag system. The new setup features a single oversized carbon fibre drag washer working against a large precision-machined stainless steel pressure plate. This dramatically increases the available drag pressure while delivering smoother, more consistent performance throughout the fight.
